    This course explores creative printmaking techniques that do not require a traditional printing press. Designed for artists, educators, and beginners alike, it introduces accessible methods for creating high-quality prints using simple tools, hand pressure, and a creative mindset.

    You will learn a range of press-free printmaking approaches, including relief, monotype, and experimental techniques that can be done at home or in a classroom. This course emphasizes process, experimentation, and problem-solving, encouraging you to adapt techniques to your own materials and ideas.

    Through step-by-step demonstrations, practical exercises, and project-based learning, you will develop an understanding of traditional and experimental printmaking principles while building a versatile toolkit for contemporary, low-tech, and mobile print practices. No prior printmaking experience or specialized equipment is required.

  • Dry Point and Carborundum

    Dry Point and Carborundum

    Generating tonal effects without the use of any chemical it’s the aim of this 2 hour class.

    Being able to combine the drawing side of the process (dry point) with darker areas and details (carborundum) would be the focus of  the workshop. This would make possible expand sizes of the plates while keeping the environment safe and sound .

    NON TOXIC print making is what we love and the direction we take as much as we can.

  • Intaglio Master Class

    Intaglio Master Class

    Based on two days sessions ( 4 hours each) this class aims to explore deeply peculiar traditional processes like sugar lift, mezzotint and others that combined with the ones we know will help to build up more understanding about our own practice.

    DAY ONE: Generating plates of different materials like zinc, polycarbonate, cardboard, tetra pack will be the focus of this first session. Proofing what we made as part of this will make us understand what the second session will be.

    Intaglio on Zinc and Aluminium Plates

    Learn foundation skills applied in printmaking through a range of techniques; work on zinc and aluminum plates. We will work with different methods like Etching, Aquatint and Drypoint to start with, the chromatic options are also limitless!

    This 2 hour workshop introduces the intaglio range of techniques. We also offer a 30 hour course for those who want to dive into this amazing world of printmaking!

  • Mono Printing

    Mono Printing

    Mono printing is a quick form of printmaking which allows you to work spontaneously and intuitively. A wide range of monotype techniques will be presented. Participants will have the opportunity to work one-on-one, learning how to combine these processes. This course (90 minutes) offers a chance to test your creative capacities. Whilst experimenting with different materials, to create a one of a kind print with an emphasis on personal style. Following the tradition of artists who transfer their drawings into prints. Explore the techniques and history of this process, whilst learning practical skills in printmaking.

  • Naturally Printed

    Naturally Printed

    In this course (90 minutes) we will work with the natural environment around us. Working solely with natural forms: seeds/stems/leaves etc.. Anything else that you have sourced from nature can be included if you like. We will provide a variety of articles for you to choose from as well. We will produce a kaleidoscopic variety of images referencing back to the origins of the natural world around us. We will weave through various compositions, coloured prints and natural pigments derived from resins and spices.

    The options are endless as you can bring any natural items that you wish to permanently capture is this timeless technique.

  • Nature and Art Day Out

    Nature and Art Day Out

    We have collaborated with Hank from Margaret River Exposed, a born and bred local who facilitates tours for those people wanting to combine nature with art.
    This 7 hour unique experience connects you with the natural environment of the beautiful Margaret River region and concludes with a 60 minute Mono printing class where your memories will last longer than a day.
