In this course (90 minutes) we will work with the natural environment around us. Working solely with natural forms: seeds/stems/leaves etc.. Anything else that you have sourced from nature can be included if you like. We will provide a variety of articles for you to choose from as well. We will produce a kaleidoscopic variety of images referencing back to the origins of the natural world around us. We will weave through various compositions, coloured prints and natural pigments derived from resins and spices.
The options are endless as you can bring any natural items that you wish to permanently capture is this timeless technique.

Generating tonal effects without the use of any chemical it’s the aim of this 2 hour class.
Being able to combine the drawing side of the process (dry point) with darker areas and details (carborundum) would be the focus of the workshop. This would make possible expand sizes of the plates while keeping the environment safe and sound .

Make your own Book cover or Concertina book. Learn how to fold and generate Journals covers and nice Portfolios! This 2 hour class allows you to understand simple but effective methods for generating really well made unique pieces.
Learn how to print your design on fabric! T-shirts, bandanas, aprons, tote bags and hoodies are what you can generate. Screen printing is an industrial technique that can be used also through creativity at the same time. Keeping the uniqueness of random combinations of colours and designs will develop amazing outcomes.
This 2 hours class will give us a good understanding about the potential of what we can eventually develop in the future back in the studio or at home.
Based on two days sessions ( 3 hours each) this class aims to explore deeply peculiar traditional processes like sugar lift, mezzotint and others that combined with the ones we know will help to build up more understanding about our own practice.
DAY ONE Generating plates of different materials like zinc, polycarbonate, cardboard, tetra pack will be the focus of this first session. Proofing what we made as part of this will make us understand what the second session will be.
DAY TWO Exploring different printing methods with the plates we made will be our goal. Single Mono prints and small editions will be produced for you to take back to your art Studio.

Learn foundation skills applied in printmaking through a range of techniques; work on zinc and aluminum plates. We will work with different methods like Etching, Aquatint and Drypoint to start with, the chromatic options are also limitless!
This 2 hour workshop introduces the intaglio range of techniques. We also offer a 30 hour course for those who want to dive into this amazing world of printmaking!
Mono printing is a quick form of printmaking which allows you to work spontaneously and intuitively. A wide range of monotype techniques will be presented. Participants will have the opportunity to work one-on-one, learning how to combine these processes. This course (90 minutes) offers a chance to test your creative capacities. Whilst experimenting with different materials, to create a one of a kind print with an emphasis on personal style. Following the tradition of artists who transfer their drawings into prints. Explore the techniques and history of this process, whilst learning practical skills in printmaking.
