“I loved the whole retreat, from the location to the food to fabulous old house! The most valuable thing I learnt was to stay focused on a theme and work through to resolve it.

The workshop and trip long format allowed me to really take my time and work on a theme without introducing off genre. It allowed me to be more experimental and take some risks.
Francesco was great at showing us some techniques, then allow us to explore in the direction we wanted to go. He was very supportive of everyone in the group, assisting as people needed. The group was fantastic. Francesco was warm, welcoming, funny & approachable, it made everyone feel welcome and part of the group.

I also loved the results of my printmaking 🙂

“One of the most valuable things I learned during the retreat was to respect mistakes — they can often be fixed — and that there are many different approaches and techniques in printmaking. The workshop gave me confidence to continue adding to and changing work as it evolves, rather than feeling locked into what’s already been done.
